Free Business School
Free Business School (FBS) is a new, technology driven, global, educational endeavor that will revolutionize traditional business education for people everywhere, especially people who would normally not be able to attend a business school.
Using teachers who are the graduates of some of the world’s elite graduate business schools, the FBS will deploy social network technology to link “students” with volunteer Fellows who are graduates of the elite MBA schools from around the globe. The FBS will enable anyone, anywhere, to take courses and improve their understanding and knowledge of business principles, strategies and tactics. FBS will bring together the world’s top business schools, their elite graduates, the employers of those graduates, other interested and caring entities and “students” from around the globe to create a new era of global, commercial literacy.
Free Business School is open to anyone in the world! In order to attend, all a student must do is access the Internet, speak English proficiently, be educated to a secondary school level and finally, complete an on-line registration...there are no entry requirements, applications or payments required!
People around the world, who are interested in improving their business skills, have Internet access, speak English proficiently, are educated to a secondary school level and finally, are willing to complete an on-line registration. That’s it...if you want to learn about business, you can go to FBS, for free!
Free Business School (FBS) is a serious provider of business education available to those for whom a business education is normally unavailable. Its affiliation with premier graduate business schools from around the globe ensures “students” that the principles, strategies and tactics taught at FBS will assist them in the building of their commercial literacy and businesses. Managers of the school believe that the new FBS logo should be strong, (possibly in a web 2.0 way see attachment), clean and vibrant. The brand should in no way be soft, frilly or flowery. The managers see the brand name “Free Business School” as being used in conjunction with an icon or shape (not a badge or shield) to support the understanding and recognition of the brand.
Please explore both positive and negative space. Color choices should fall into the typical “University” colors ranging from black to dark blue and medium blues or dark reds to crimson. Fonts should be sans-serif only. Lastly, we would like to explore multiple aspect ratios from roughly 2:1 (two widths to one height) to a 1:1 (one width to one height).
At the end of the contest, we will require the winning designer to provide the following files in the handover phase:
1. Unlocked vector file in either .eps or .ai format
2. Font name(s)
4. Jpeg Color palette showing all colors used in the logo and the PMS, CMYK, RGB and HEX #’s.
