Logo should be graphic but simple and creative. Use of negative/positve space could be interesting, or using initials inside shapes, on angles and in different combinations. Font type and size should reflect professional, confident, distinctive style. Open to using upper and lower case letters.
Interior designers are recognized by their name, so use of one, both, or all three of my initials as a logo(stamp) and then incorporating my name with related fonts, so that the graphic portion can be used directly with the name on a resume or business card, but initial logo could be used separately like a stamp on portfolio pages. Needs to look good in black and white as well as color. It also needs to look good for horizontally and vertically if possible. Should appeal to commercial as well as residential customers/employers and convey my straightforward, detail oriented, professional approach to design.
NOTE: Many of the designs coming in are too symmetrical based on the above description...so, it would be preferred if there could be some creative mixture of straightforward and simple wiht a touch of an unexpected flair.
Open to using my first and last name and initials only, or if design is superior with my middle name or initial, and any combination that is appealing by the design. I welcome all combinations. Horizontal or vertical graphics to compliment to letters and/or name could also be interesting and add a strong design statement.
I am an "older" student, starting my second career. I am an accountant by background and am making the transition to providing design solutions, although I am also qualified to provide business advice. I mention this as to provide some more background on me, while taking the other information into account.
Very exciting to start the personal branding process as I enter my new career!
