ChiliApps is a startup consultancy company based in the Netherlands, with a focus on application development for SAP. (http://www.sap.com)
The main proposition will be that the time has passed that SAP applications were about dull, grey (and blue) and timeconsuming User Interfaces. With todays technology and our company's knowledge and skills, we are able to built crispy and appealing, but to the point User Interfaces. No more complex environments, that distract the user from fullfilling their core processes.
Next to a focus on desktop applications with a much better user experience, there is also a focus on mobile SAP applications. We will be the first company in the Netherlands that focusses it's proposition on this new area for SAP.
We want our logo to emphasize that we are about something new, not experienced yet. (in corporate environments of course, because at home we already can't live without it.... ;-)
Help us stand out from the SAP consultancy company's croud!
Corporate audience from mid- to big-sized company's as well as SAP development consultants.
Target companies for instance: Philips, Heineken, Shell but also Dutch market leaders on Utilities, Logistics and also Government.
The trick must be that the logo stands out and appeals to young creative developers which we want to recruit, but it doesn't look to cheap or to playfull for a CIO of a mid-/big-sized company to leave my business card on his desk.
So, should a pepper be used or not? Of course it is very obvious to use, but is that a weakness or a strength? It is up to you to convince me!
(Of course) the name ChiliApps was born by thinking of Extreme Hot Applications and the logo should radiate (is this word used correctly?) this feeling without being cheesy or being to obvious.
As stated under target audience: "The trick must be that the logo stands out and appeals to young creative developers which we want to recruit, but it doesn't look to cheap or to playfull for a CIO of a mid-/big-sized company to leave my business card on his desk."
Logo may only be a "picture" or can (also) contain the name ChiliApps.
Logo in rectangular and square variant because the logo must be usable for:
- business cards
- paper and envelopes
- recognizable favicon (please provide example)
- iPhone application icon
We were thinking of a black based website and business cards with a red colored logo (logo also must be printeable on white paper), but we are open for creative alternatives.
