Creative Designer Needed - Logo for Classic ARCADE GAME retailer

AGS - Arcade Game Sales of Maryland

Our website is http://www.AGSGames.com AGS stands for “Arcade Game Sales.” We Sell new and fully restored classic arcade games from the early 80’s classic game era to present day machines. These are the full sized coin operated game machines like Pacman, Galaga, Space Invaders and Asteroids.

We will STAY IN CONSTANT CONTACT to give feedback and help you in the development and tweaking. FUTURE BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY for the winner. We will use the winning designer for future development of this logo and other graphic design jobs, etc.

Our target audience is people of all ages who are searching for these types of machines to purchase and place in their home game rooms, basements etc. This is an existing market. We need a catchy logo that will bring out some memories and nostalgia in people that played these games in the arcade, in the past.

LOGO requirements:

-Should use the letters “AGS.” Optional to also use these words “Arcade Game Sales” below the letters AGS.

-Letters and potential logo components should incorporate a classic arcade game look and feel. Some suggestions are a futuristic look or pixilated look to the letters (AGS) (not essential if the look is not good to you), or a 3D game character as part of the logo. You could use some type of simple space ship or other simple game character drawling along side or coming out of the side. Such simple space ships, etc were seen on the side art of some classic games. See attachments of asteroids graphics for example of "space ships", etc. Also you could use arcade joysticks or buttons or an entire arcade game cabinet!

Please be original so as not to use any copyrighted characters.

-Check website for some ideas of color coordination: http://www.agsgames.com (Blues, reds, silvers are some possibilities which are on our website.)

-Not absolutely necessary but it would be nice if the logo had some possibility of animating when used in the flash header of our website.
