I am an Online Marketer that is developing an entire new Brand, based around the concept of "Let Your Ideas Fly!". Onward and upward...!
I am an avid fly fisherman and originally had the idea for a fly-fishing website. Then I realized I was going to be marketing a number of other, different products, so I decided to keep the same concept of ethereal, upward, "outside-the-box" thinking/marketing!
As this logo will be the "flagship" brand for everything that will follow (i.e., biz cards, Website, letterhead, ads, etc.,etc.), it will mainly be targeting the 25 to 60 age group that shops on the Internet. These are the cutting edge folks that have learned to trust and shop the Internet. They are also the demographic that shops eBay, Craig's List, Amazon, has social media sites such as Facebook & Twitter, etc.
I will start with "Affiliate" Marketing products initially, and move into my own "private branded' info products as I expand...
I am looking for a "forward" momentum, "onward and upward", "clean" type of logo. Initially, I had an idea to incorporate the "whip" look of a fly-fishing cast, starting with a loop that goes from the left, up and around to over the top, and then out toward the right. Possibly inside this half-loop would be the words "Let-Fly" ? It could also incorporate the tag line (underneath): "Let Your Ideas Fly", if it didn't look too busy?
There are 2 logos that are somewhat similar to what I'm thinking about in the "99 Designs Stock Logo Search". One is called "Flying Free: and the other one is "Get Fly". I like the curve of the single "red" wing on the "Get Fly" logo, except reversed (to start from left and go up & out to the right). I'm not sure what the object is in "Flying Free" (cross between a Shark fin and bird or bullet?). It's not bad, though...
Here is the link for these two logos I'm talking about.

The logos are #'s 2 & 3 on these page...
As for colors, I prefer the Navy Blue (or dark Royal Blue), medium dark Greens, and Burgundy. A tan or medium Grey background is fine, too, but I'm fine with you experimenting with your choice of colors.
Files I require are:
1. High-resolution jpeg
2. Project PSD
I would prefer no stock images.
