Since 1995, camaro.com has been an independently owned and operated enthusiast site for Camaro fans. We exist to promote and enjoy the Chevy Camaro, from the point of view of the driver, not the brand. We love Chevy, and we don't want to violate their trademarks or create any confusion about the brand. We want to exist as a portal for everything that a Camaro fan or owner would want to know or do with the car they love.
We are in the process of redesigning the whole Web site. Do not create your logo based on anything you currently see at camaro.com because it will all be changing soon. The site will expand its scope to cover auto parts, service, specs, blog, history, photo gallery, forums, community, Q&A, affiliate links, games, and much more. Your logo will be incorporated into the new design, and the site will have more of an eCommerce element to it.
Your design should appeal to a largely male audience, but don't forget that women love the car too. Look at motorsports branding across the Web and you will see bold, fast, and powerful imagery. One site that does this well is Carid, but they are entirely focused on eCommerce, while we want to remain a community of fans, so don't just copy the look and feel of their brand.
DO NOT use any symbols that are trademarked to Chevrolet, especially the "bow tie". We are NOT affiliated with Chevy or General Motors.
