Carbon Neutral is a not-for-profit that basically allows members of the public to calculate their emissions. For example, they could use the online calculator to find out how much their car emits and then buy the offsets required to make that year's driving "carbon neutral". The offsets are created from tree planting sites in regional Australia. The planting sites have the added benefit of reducing soil salinity, providing windbreaks and social benefits such as increasing local employment.
